The Amok fish is considered one of the most important staple dishes of Cambodia. Every year tourists from all over the world travel to Cambodia to explore it’s beautiful culture, as well as enjoy some of the most unique and tasty cuisine. When we created the concept of our restaurant La Petite Mangue we wanted to make sure we could bring back a piece of Cambodia’s culture to Montreal, Canada. Being born and raised in Phnom Penh, we’ve learned the traditional methods of cooking the Amok Fish the way it’s meant to be prepared.
